General Information

The proposal of the Chairmanship of the Council of Higher Education dated 26.01.2010 numbered 1308 was established by the decision of the Council of Ministers on 01.02.2010.

There are a total of 8 departments in our faculty, namely Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture and Landscape Architecture Departments.

In our faculty, there are 2 professor, 2 associate professors and 11 assistant professors, 15 faculty members, 14 research assistants and 5 administrative staff. 10 of our research assistants are studying under master's degree and Ph.D. in various universities of Turkey with the possibility of ÖYP and the others being our university.

We started to teach our undergraduate education in the Department of Civil Engineering under the Faculty of Engineering in 2012-2013 and the Department of Food Engineering under the Faculty of Engineering in 2013-2014 and the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in the academic year of 2015-2016. Besides this, graduate education in Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Department of Civil Engineering started. In addition, the background of the studies related to the ECTS and the Diploma Supplement has been completed and we participate in ERASMUS, MEVLANA, FARABI student exchange programs.

There are dormitories and private dormitories of the Credit and Dorms Institution where students can meet their accommodation needs in Kilis. Moreover, since we are one of the cheapest city of Turkey, our students can comfortably meet all other needs. This also plays an important role in preferring our faculty.
